Rocco & Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator, 32 fl oz
Our pickBest for most mattresses. Check your mattress care tag first, and blot instead of soaking memory foam. The maker's FAQ says to spray or pour it on; a mattress maker says not to get memory foam wet.1

For strong odors. It adds a mineral odor blocker to the bacteria base, and the maker says 30 to 60 minutes for new stains.3

Is it safe to wet a mattress with an enzyme cleaner?
Rocco & Roxie's FAQ says to spray or pour its cleaner on the mattress and leave it to work.9 Purple, a mattress maker, says that urine stains may need an enzyme cleaner or hydrogen peroxide.10 The same page says you shouldn't get a memory foam mattress wet.2
Those two do not fully agree, and no cleaner maker we read gives a mattress-specific amount. If you have doubts, Purple says to check your mattress maker's care instructions and warranty.11
Which cleaners name mattresses on their own page?
Rocco & Roxie does, for both its standard and Extreme cleaners.1 The Nature's Miracle page we read names carpets, hard floors, furniture and fabrics, but does not name mattresses.4 Reckitt's safety sheet for Resolve gives no surfaces.5
GEODE and Sunny & Honey are sold as mattress sprays. We could only read their listings, which do not publish ingredients or directions.6
How long should it sit on a mattress?
Rocco & Roxie's general directions say to let its cleaner stand at least 1 hour, and longer is better.12 For the Extreme spray the label says 30 to 60 minutes on new stains.13 Nature's Miracle says to let the area dry for 24 hours.14
Does the Extreme spray list an oil cats react to?
Yes. Its label lists a Meyer lemon oil blend.15 Pet Poison Helpline lists citrus oil (d-limonene), pine, peppermint, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus and tea tree oils among those known to poison cats.16 The standard Rocco & Roxie label says only "Fragrance".1
